It’s the day we’ve both been anxiously waiting for! It’s your family session gallery delivery day! I still get giddy every time I hit the send button, there is nothing more rewarding in my business than knowing you are stoked with your photos and confident in your investment. Speaking of investments, that is exactly how you should treat these sweet new digital files you own! Here are four steps I suggest you take as soon as you get your gallery link.
Save your gallery to multiple Locations
At a minimum I suggest saving your complete hi res gallery to your computer as well as your personal online data storage system or external hard drive. This way if your local drive on your computer ever breaks, or you need to switch to a new computer, you have that secondary location to drop your photos from. Next I would recommend saving a complete web sized copy of your photos to your phone & icloud in order to always have them on hand to share, use as a screensaver, or just oo and ahh over.
Forward your family session gallery email to family
Once you’ve saved your photos everywhere you’d like, you can actually just forward that link straight to mom! I want to keep it as easy as possible to share your photos with your family, because ultimately sharing those memories is what this is all about! It’s about you and your family members being able to visit that moment over the years as you change and grow through the seasons.
Order prints!
This step is often overlooked in 2022 but it is SOOO important! You’ve made a big investment; and I want you to get the most possible bang for your buck. So grab some new prints to go next to the artwork on your fridge, have an hi quality canvas printed to display in your living room, put a print in the mail for grandma, or add to that scrapbook you’ve been wanting to catch up on! Plus, in my quest to make this the easiest possible experience, i’ve made sure you can order prints directly from the delivery site! Your photos will be delivered straight from a high quality print shop straight to your door.
Share your family session gallery on social media with friends and family
Lastly! Share those shots, update that profile pic! Make a montage to a sweet audio on instagram, upload the whoooolllle gallery to Facebook so all the auntie’s and grandma’s can bask in your little’s growth. Life is all about connection, and sharing these photos with all those friends and family members helps you maintain those connections and share in your seasons.
