Family Sessions are shot at an outdoor location selected from my pre scouted list of beautiful Central Oregon spots.
December-March I offer in home sessions in place of outdoor locations due to Central Oregon weather
Newborn Sessions can be shot in the comfort of your home or in my home studio space.
where can we shoot our session?
Absolutely! styling assistance is included in your package; I am happy to provide a color scheme, bounce ideas, and help choose the best outfit options to fit your family & the location selected.
will you help us select outfits?
Fortunately we live in Central Oregon and enjoy beauty year round! the busy season is June through October and its certainly my favorite time to shoot! however these session slots do go quickly so if schedule is a concern for you, Spring is a safe bet. All sessions are shot either in the morning or evening, as close to sunrise/sunset as possible.
when is the best time to schedule our session?
I suggest scheduling a Maternity session for 34-36 weeks; this is the best time window to capture that precious bump, where you aren't endlessly uncomfortable yet.
Newborn sessions should be shot between 14-21 days after birth but can be scheduled based on your due date to reserve time.
when is the best time to schedule a maternity/newborn session?
Hey mama, I get it! I have absolutely been there with my own two kiddos and it can be a huge pain point. But, this isn't a doctors appt, It doesn't need to be stressful! I've got a million tricks up my sleeve on how to engage with your little ones, but if they aren't digging a pose? we skip it. If they want to be held the whole time? we roll with it. Its your season of life, no two galleries look the same because it isnt one size fits all.
what if im worried about my kiddos behaving?
Life gets crazy sometimes! kids get sick, things come up! I try to be as accommodating as possible. I require a non-refundable deposit on all sessions to reserve my time. However! if something comes up that is unavoidable, I am almost always willing to transfer that deposit to a later session. all the deets are lined out clearly for you in my service contract.
