24/7 on call status from 39.5-41.5 weeks, Ill show up wherever you're giving birth (with provider permission) and document from time of arrival until 1 hour post birth. anywhere from 40-200+ images depending. Delivered in less than one week with 10+ sneak peaks delivered day of so you can share your news in perfect clarity!

I like to think of a fresh 48 as a happy medium between a birth photography package and a newborn session!
Here's the bottom line up front, I'll be on call to arrive at your place of delivery within 24 hours of birth; Ill snap photos of your birth space, you with your new babe, newborn announcement shots, your family meeting, etc. (I always deliver a few sneak peaks within a few hours so you can share your news with beautiful quality!)

Whenever you're ready! keep in mind I only take on two births per month so the sooner the better! but don't assume I'm booked; you can contact me up until the month before! a 50% deposit holds your due date and pays for my on call time. Also, Even if your babe arrives outside that time, odds are I'll be there! just less guarantee
when do i need to reserve my due date?
part of the package is on call time from 39.5 to 41.5 weeks, almost all babies are born in this time. on call means I will not leave the Central Oregon area and will be able to be there within 30 min-1 hour notice! as long as you notify me, I will get there! I am (almost ;) as excited for this as you are and will be there day or night!
how do i know you'll make it to the birth?
Your gallery will look like your story! It will be chronological, so you can watch your story again and again in images. I consult with my mamas in depth (usually over coffee or tea!) before their birth to discuss specific wants & their birth plan. If you want a crowning shot, I'm on it! if you would like me to frame shots without showing your hoo ha, I'm an expert in that too!
what will my gallery look like?
Definitely not a requirement to have your birth documented! COVID has made it difficult working with hospitals but they seem to be relaxing a bit! I suggest you contact your provider and hospital to see what current policies are! I've seen some beautiful C section shots so its totally possible!
do i have to have a home birth?
to a certain extent for sure! we will talk at length on areas you want me to focus on, how you want me to interact with your birth team, etc. We will also discuss your birth plan, with the understanding that its documentary photography and I can't promise specific shots! I can promise they will be honest & beautiful!
can i decide what type of photos you take?
This is a biggie! because birth is so dang intimate. For the most part, I will show up and let you know I have arrived and then I'll be a quiet fly on the wall. No flash of course! I wont give you any direction or get in the way of your birth team. BUT, I also love to be helpful, and am passionate about birth, so I'll be right there ready to grab water or a towel or hold something to throw up in when needed! ;)

I love how it didn’t feel like a photography session in the sense that it wasn’t posed. We had conversations during the session and it was the most natural I have ever felt taking photos. Abby is not only phenomenal with kids but is also a kind soul and you just want to be in her presence. Abby will take the time to make sure she gets the shots that are the best and is very quick in getting them back in a timely manner!
