Nick, Stefane, & Boone at Reynolds Pond, Bend Oregon
This Oregon engagement photography session was my first shot at shooting an engagement session. Not to mention that I also shot the actual proposal. Let me tell ya what, this session had me feeling allll the feels. This family is so incredibly near and dear to my heart; in fact, they were one of my very first paid clients when I started by business in 2019. To be invited back in to document this surprise Proposal was an absolute honor.
It all started with a phone call
Nick reached out to me about a month ago to let me know he was finally planning on popping the question; and he wanted me to capture it under the impression of a family photography session. I literally squealed on the phone! We spent the next month cryptically communicating our plan in hopes to keep it all under wraps; of course Stefane figured it out in the final quarter!
The plot thickened
Nick devised a plan to get little Boone into his “Mommy will you marry Daddy shirt.” I acquired the champagne and kept it hidden in my bag. Nick worked with a friend of Stefane’s to make sure she got a manicure before the big day. Then the plan went off without a hitch! It was a pretty cold bluster spring day but this family kept warm with love on their hearts. Much to Nick’s joy; she said yes! This Oregon Engagement Photography session is one that I will remember for my entire career.
